The Evolution of Lower Limb Biomechanics

Our understanding of the lower limb has shifted substantially over the past few decades. 

The field of injury management and biomechanics has also broadened its view of where lower limb injury actually comes from and what management entails.

None of this makes orthotic therapy obsolete. It means the clinical picture is larger than orthoses alone ever captured, and staying current means looking at the bigger picture and being able to select the interventions that are right for the patient sitting in front of you.
